I suggest you investigate the “Efficient-market hypothesis” vs. “Economic Bubbles and Irrational Exuberance”. Is the comic-book market efficient or subjected to “bubbles and irrational exuberance? Does irrational behavior have a real impact on the markets in comic book investing? Notice the era we are in seems to depend on the movie concept, that if a movie therefore the increase in comic prices. If that occurs then the market seems to be influenced by the “movie bubble” we are in. When did scarcity lose to the movie bubble pricing? Or did it? Do we have a complex market say golden age (Rare / drives high demand) vs. modern comics (movie/TV bubble drives high demand)? So a hint, if I look at bias do I care if it is rarity or a movie bubble? Will rocket raccoon ever go down? Short to long term investing? What happened to beanie babies?

Ok Lets look at Thor. Only 3 buy only in all three grades issues exist, issues 89, 126 and 165 (Light Green). Note the dark greens are a buy at 9.4 only and only are seen in the JIM issues. Focus on those early issues then.  Issue 168 may be a watchable issue as with the other grey issues.

Only 3 bright issues are seen in DD, issue 1, 7 and 16. Only early issues before #24 are on the 9.4 focus. Maybe some grey to pay attention to. FYI you should refer back to the DD run blog to see the data on DD#7. It is a very interesting issue.

Only 7 bright green but that is much more than the other runs here. Issues 6, 7, 8, 28, 55, 57, and 83 are a buy at all upper grades (6 and up). You see a strong first 12 avengers as well in the dark green ones as well as a mix from the late teens and 20s. Also 43, 54, 59 93 are also a buy at the 9.4 condition. Note a lot of grey as well. Avengers seem to be the forward moving run.
